Morecambe Artist Colony based in Morecambe, is a not-for-profit group of local artists and creatives.
Indeed, MAC are passionate about using art for the regeneration of Morecambe. The clubs instigates, delivers and supports curated high-quality art-led exhibitions and projects. In fact, these take place in existing, new and under-utilised spaces in Morecambe.
MAC currently curate exhibitions in the following venues:
- The More Music gallery, in Morecambe’s West End.
- The Stone Jetty Cafe in Central Morecambe.
We have also curated exhibitions in more unusual venues across town.
The group is run by a core committee of around 12 members and has a wider membership of around 80 artists/creatives.
