The Preston Caribbean Carnival is the largest and longest running cultural celebration in Preston outside of the Preston Guild. It has been held annually for 45 years.
Attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year. Preston comes alive in June as the city dances to the rhythms of the Caribbean
The Carnival is organised by a team of volunteers. Indeed, they work tirelessly throughout the year planning, organising, and running the event.
It is open to people of all ages. In fact, it is a platform for anyone who wishes to promote the essence of all that is positive about Caribbean Carnival. Especially, local young people from the many communities, which make up Preston City.I
