The Burnley Canal Festival is a FREE festival celebrating the historic canal side of Burnley.
It will return for another year in the summer 2022. It is a festival for all the family, centred on the historic Weavers’ Triangle area of Burnley and along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Launched in 2012, the Burnley Canal Festival has grown each year. It is steered by volunteers and supported by partners including Burnley Council and Canal & River Trust. The Festival is now a part of the Super Slow Way arts programme and is managed by Mid Pennine Arts.
