The Green Man of Buckshaw is a 9 metre tall tubular steel structure.
In fact, the structure was commissioned by a developer partnership for the 400 acre residential development, Buckshaw Village.
It is fabricated in steel and clad in fibre glass.
The structure, also referred to as ‘The Wicker Man’ was installed in the Spring of 2005. Furthermore, it marks as the entrance to Buckshaw Village, in between Leyland and Chorley.
