Accrington Town Hall

Accrington Town Hall is a beautiful Grade ll Listed Building in Accrington, Hyndburn district.

A stunning refurbishment programme has created a range of fantastic spaces for weddings and events, including the Ballroom.

The building, designed by James Green, was originally the Peel Institute. Later, it become the town hall in 1865. Built in stone and with a hipped slate roof, there are two storeys. Additionally, it has fronts of seven and three bays. In the centre is a porte-cochère with large arches. Above, there is is a portico of six Corinthian columns, behind which is a Venetian window. In addition, the ground floor windows are round-headed with rusticated surrounds and keystones. Finally, the upper floor windows have segmental heads, balustrades and segmental pediments.
